Recently our AFC Dads took on the mighty Wandering Crows Charity Football Team. It really was a magical night, with about 200 in attendance from the AFC family the atmosphere was electric. the children cheered on the Dads for 90 minutes.
The first half saw us go 8-0 down against a rampant and well organised Crows, Daniel Seaton in goal made some wonderful saves to keep the score down.
The second half the Dads re grouped and Dan Franklyn seized on a great through ball to score in the bottom left but, it was deemed off side, then 20 minutes later Matt Berner smashed the ball home to make the final score 8-1. Well done Dads and thank you to everyone who came to support.
Panini's own Katie Gritt, Head of Marketing for Sport, who recently revealed that the Adrenalyn XL Trading Card Game has been officially recognised as Autism Approved by The National Autistic Society, generously, sent our team a large bundle of Panini cards.
