At Autistic FC are ethos is football for all, with that in mind we have created the AFC Dads. The Dads team is for parents of the children who come to the club, we play charity teams across Essex raising money for their good causes and in return we will host teams to raise money for our club. if you are interested in playing us please drop us an email and we will arrange it with you.
Our first match was an away trip to Barking Football Club to play Hornchurch FC, they are a cricket team that set up a football team to raise money for good causes. Jim Lafferty made history by scoring the first-ever Dads goal, he headed home a beautiful cross from Dan Franklyn from the right wing, a great finish, by a great guy. Charlie scored the second goal from the penalty spot after Dan was brought down in the box, he calmly slotted it away to finish the game 6-2 to our hosts. The whole team put in a great performance and should be very proud of themselves. Thank you to everyone that night who braved the cold to watch us, onto the next.
These are the next few fixtures we have, please come along to support us, we need all the help we can get. Entrance is always free of charge at each ground we play at there are always drinks and refreshments as well as match programs to help raise money for what ever charity is being supported for that match.
We are so proud to announce CONSTRUCT as the first-ever AFC Dads sponsor. A massive thank you must go to the CONSTRUCT Council and General Manager Ian Burnett for facilitating this and helping us with our new kits, we look forward to partnering with you.
