At Autistic FC, our ethos is simple: Football for All. We believe that the beautiful game should be inclusive and accessible to everyone, regardless of age or ability. With this in mind, we are proud to introduce the AFC Dads team—an exciting new initiative that gives the parents of our players the chance to get involved in the football community in a unique and meaningful way.
The AFC Dads team is made up of parents who want to connect with one another and give back to the community. We play friendly matches against charity teams across Essex, raising much-needed funds for their causes. In turn, we host visiting teams, with all proceeds going toward supporting the continued growth of Autistic FC and providing more opportunities for our players.
If you’re a parent of one of our players, or if you're part of a charity team looking for a fun and worthwhile match, we’d love to hear from you! By playing with us, you’re not only enjoying the game but also helping make a difference in the lives of our players and supporting the wider community.
To get involved or to arrange a match, simply drop us an email, and we’ll be happy to set something up. Together, we can make football a sport that brings everyone together, both on and off the pitch.
What an unforgettable night for the Dads and everyone involved with Autistic FC! We celebrated a historic moment in the club’s journey, recording our very first victory with a commanding 8-0 win over Hornchurch. The atmosphere was electric as we played in front of our proud sponsors, and the lads truly rose to the occasion. From the first whistle to the final whistle, the team displayed some exceptional football, showing the quality, passion, and unity we’ve been building since day one.
This win feels especially sweet given the tough start we’ve had as a new team. We've faced our fair share of heavy defeats, but the spirit of the players has never wavered. They’ve shown incredible resilience, determination, and commitment, always coming back stronger with every setback, and tonight, it all paid off. The progress we’ve made as a team is undeniable, and the boys can be proud of how far they’ve come in such a short time.
As coaches and supporters, we couldn’t be prouder of the lads. This victory is a testament to their hard work, their belief in each other, and the core values that Autistic FC stands for: inclusion, perseverance, and a love for the game. It’s not just about winning—it’s about representing the club with heart, pride, and dedication.
We’d also like to extend a huge thank you to our sponsors for their continued support, and for being there to witness this monumental moment. This win is as much yours as it is the players’ and coaches’.
Now, with this incredible result behind us, we’re excited to carry this momentum forward into the next match. We know there’s still plenty of work to be done, but tonight, we celebrate. The journey is only just beginning, and the future looks bright for Autistic FC!
Our Dads played their first ever tournament over at Tonbridge Angels FC. This tournament is run by Forever Finley FC, they are a football team playing in the memory of children they have very sadly lost at a young age, a wonderful bunch playing for a very special cause. The team did themselves proud, played 4 matches drew one and lost three, the games were very close with not a lot in them. Kev and Ben ran the defence like a well oiled machine helped by the incredible Richard and Lilly (Kev's daughter),Ollie ran the midfield and never stopped running. Dan had a surprising role in goal for a match and a half until injury ruled him out of the sticks and the ever youthful Michael retook his place. over all it was a wonderful day played in the correct manner, we couldn't be prouder of the team and the amazing support we took with us. Many Thanks goes to Jack from Forever Finley FC for inviting us to such an amazing day, we cant wait for next year.
We are so proud to announce CONSTRUCT as the first-ever AFC Dads sponsor.
